Over the past couple of days, Alexander Ludwig who’ll be playing the District 2 Tribute, Cato, has taken to his Twitter answering fans’ questions, including some really interesting Hunger Games ones, among others:

Q: what is your favorite quote?
A: “Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.”

Q: how did you get started with acting?
A: I was 12 when I called my mom’s old agent in the phone book

Q: What’s your favorite childhood tv show?
A: according to my mom, Barney

Q: Aside from Cato, who is your favorite character in the Hunger Games?
A: Rue

Q: do you have an actor you look up to?
A: Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt

Q: How did it feel to land a role in Hunger Games?
A: Everytime I land a role, it feels like winning the lottery.

Q: Were you a fan of the books before getting the role of Cato in The Hunger Games?
A: yes, I was a huuuuuuge fan before being cast

Alexander Ludwig told us in an interview with Lola’s Land that who is his main inspirations on his actor career. Alex reveal that both super star Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp are his inspirations.

“My all time cast would be; directing Martin Scorsese or Steven Spielberg. Then I would love to work with Leonardo DiCaprio, he’s one of my all time inspirations I think he just a phenomenal actor and the fact that he hasn’t won an Academy Award yet is honestly just the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen! I think Johnny Depp’s the same. I guess those two are my main inspirations.” Added by Alexander
